Chocolate Chunk Skillet Cookie

Ingredients

1 c. packed brown sugar
·
1/2 c. sugar
·
1/2 c. butter softened
·
1 large egg
·
1/4 c. whole milk
·
1 tsp. vanilla
·
4-5 drops red food color gel
·
2 c. all-purpose flour
·
2 tbsp. cocoa powder
·
1 tsp. baking soda
·
1/4 tsp. salt
·
1/2 c. mini semi-sweet
chocolate chips
·
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate
chunks
·
ice cream and chocolate sauce
Instructions
1.
In a large mixing bowl, beat brown
sugar, sugar, and butter until fluffy.
2.
Add egg, milk, vanilla, and red food
color, beating until combined.
3.
In a medium bowl, whisk together
flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
4.
Add to mixing bowl gradually,
beating until combined.
5.
Fold in mini chips and chocolate
chunks.
6.
Spray a 10-inch cast-iron skillet
with non-stick spray.
7.
Spread the batter evenly into the
skillet.
8.
Bake at 325 for 40-45 minutes, or
until edges are golden and a toothpick inserted near the center comes out with
a few moist crumbs, but mostly clean.
9.
Cool for 15 minutes. Cut into
slices.
10.
Serve warm with ice cream and
chocolate sauce.
