Chocolate Chip Banana Bread
is made with ripe bananas, delicious chocolate chips, which results in a super
moist and incredibly tender bread.
Ingredients
·
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
·
2 teaspoons baking powder
·
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
·
1 1/2 cups mashed bananas about 3 medium bananas
·
1 large egg room temperature
·
1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
·
1/4 cup canola oil
·
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
·
1 cup white sugar
·
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
F, and spray a 9x5 inch loaf pan with non-stick baking spray.
2. Next, in a large bowl mash
the bananas using a fork until creamy. Add melted butter, oil and sugar
and combine using a hand mixer.
3. Then add egg, vanilla and
mix again.
4. Combine flour, baking
powder, and salt in a separate bowl and whisk. Slowly add dry mixture to wet
mixture and stir.
5. Next, fold in chocolate
chips using a spatula.
6. Add the mixture to the loaf
pan and bake for 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
