OPTIONAL ICING ALTERNATIVES
Classic Cream Cheese Icing:

3 oz cream cheese softened
·
1/6 Cup butter softened
·
1 Cup powdered sugar
·
1/4 tablespoon vanilla extract
Combine the softened cream cheese and butter
using a stand mixer until well blended. Add in the vanilla and the powdered
sugar and beat until combined.
Maple Icing:
·
2 tablespoon butter softened
·
2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
·
1 1/2 tablespoon maple syrup
·
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
·
pinch of salt
·
1/4 cup milk
Beat softened butter in a stand mixer for
about 1 minute, or until smooth. Add powdered sugar, maple syrup, vanilla and
dash of salt and mix for 10 seconds. While the mixer is still running add the
milk, a little at a time until you have the desired consistency. Then beat the
frosting for about 1 minute.
